Now more than ever we are in need of social, physical and emotional connection. This retreat will attract a collective of like-minded individuals looking to enhance their own personal wellness journey. This weekend was designed to bring our community together, to connect in a learning environment, and nourish the mind, body and soul. It is organized, managed and run by a local Okotokian team with presenters all local to Okotoks, Foothills and Calgary.
No matter what pressures you have in your daily life, you can leave them at the door as you immerse yourself in a self-growth weekend. There are 21 workshops you can choose from over the Saturday & Sunday. Some are discussion/lecture style classes, and some are interactive classes where you will join in on the activities, movement, etc. And if that's not enough, there is a Wellness Market on Saturday night with tables set up. Local vendors & practitioners offering wellness related services & products. Have your cards read, get a mini-massage, browse the unique items for sale, many from our class presenters.
What kind of classes? A mix of holistic health with hormone gut health, spiritual mantra chanting & mala, drumming circle, witch circle & moon magick, intuitive tarot introduction, crystal bowl sound bath, heart-centered leadership, breath work, Saraswati healing with crystal angels, Five Elements of Healing, Pleasure to Power, sigil making, radical rest, yoga nidra, Free to be Me.... There is something for everyone!
The ticket is an all-access pass, meaning you can choose any of the workshops offered, they are all included. If you want to elevate your retreat experience, there is a retreat rate offered by the hotel, should you wish to stay.
How do you get tickets? Our subscribers will receive an email when the tickets are about to be released. There are a limited amount of tickets being sold, once they're gone, the event is sold out until our next one. (Make sure to add us to your contacts, or check your junk folder.)
There's also a mini kids retreat day May 14th, with a morning for the littles and an afternoon for the older age group. With the effects of pandemic life making social connection & mental health challenges, there is a need, now more than ever, to connect & learn the skills that we need going forward. This retreat will introduce awareness of our emotions, breath techniques and stress-relieving tools that can be used into adulthood.
So basically, in a nutshell... these retreats are about whole body wellness - mind, body & soul.
