Restore and Rest Yoga Class


Find peace and relaxation of the body and the mind!

Restorative yoga involves gently supported yoga postures to relax the body and allow the mind to come into stillness, helping the body and mind rest, heal, and restore balance. 

The first half of the class will be settling the body and mind through breath and restorative yoga poses then we move into a Yoga Nidra.

December 3 Week Rest & Restore Series 

Investment $45

Classes start at 7:00pm

Dec. 14 & 21 - One hour class with 30 min Restorative Yoga and 30 min Yoga Nidra.

Dec. 28 - 90- minute class; 30 mins Restore Yoga with REIKI, and 45 min. SOUND BATH with Shelley Duret.


During this session Lisa and Shelley will be combining Reiki with the already powerful Restorative Yoga sequencing.   Reiki is received from the openness of the heart so if hands on treatment is not within your place of comfort, please know distance is just as nourishing should you wish to receive without physical touch.

We will then drop into the sound ceremony portion of our evening.  Crystal bowls, ocean drum, and hand drum will lull the nervous system through the vibration emitted.  Each of our Seven primary Energy systems is attuned to a specific frequency, when we are washed in sound vibration, we are able to find a balanced flow within our system.  From this flow, the body is more easily able to land in ease within the Parasympathetic nervous system – which is responsible for our Fight or Flight response. 

This night is sure to leave you feeling calm, peaceful, relaxed and abundant before heading into the busy Holiday Season.



November 5 Week Rest & Restore Series

Nov. 9, 23, 30 - One hour class with 30 min Restorative Yoga and 30 min Yoga Nidra.

Nov. 16 - Two hour class; 1.5 hours of REIKI SHARE with Cara Marshall and 30 min Yoga Nidra.

Dec. 07- One full hour of Yoga Nidra.

Please bring your own yoga mat, bolster, blocks, journal and pen, water bottle, blanket, pillow and any other comfort items you may require.

Why Restore and Rest  Yoga...


Now more than ever we are in need of social, physical and emotional health!  This class is designed to foster togetherness and connect in a restorative environment by nourishing the mind, body and soul. Deep relaxation offers powerful benefits in reducing everyday life stress and tension while promoting self-care.

Restorative Yoga involves gently supported yoga postures to relax the body and allow the mind to come into stillness. Yoga props allow time for longer postures and deeper breathing helps with relaxation, releases muscle tension, balances the nervous system, and develops qualities of compassion and understanding towards self.


Yoga Nidra is often referred to as Yogic sleep; the body and the mind are primed for deep rest through intention setting (Sankalpa), meditation, and relaxing all parts of the body. This practice activates a physical and mental release of emotional tension, slows down the nervous system and allows the muscles to relax, helping the body rest, heal, and restore balance.

Lisa is the founder and owner of the Foothills Wellness Retreat. She began her wellness journey in 2018 which led to realizing a need for healing through self-awareness. On this path, she has experienced firsthand what Yoga, Meditation and Wellness Retreats have to offer towards self-awareness and healing.

Yoga Nidra was foundational for allowing stillness to be present, which was the medicine for awareness, curiosity, healing and change, to ultimately live a happier and healthier live.

Through passion and personal growth, Lisa obtained her certifications as a Yoga and Yoga Nidra Teacher. Currently she teaches Rest and Restore Yoga/Nidra classes as a way to give back to others what truly helped create her own healing journey.
